The wattage spec is the least interesting thing about a wireless charger. Alignment tolerance, LED behavior at 2am, and whether the coil runs hot after an hour — that’s what determines whether it stays on your nightstand.
Wireless chargers are reviewed almost exclusively at the point of unboxing: does it charge? Yes. Review complete. What doesn’t get covered is coil temperature after 60 minutes of continuous charging, how sensitive the pad is to a phone that landed two millimeters off-center, whether the LED indicator is visible from across a dark room at 3am, and what happens to charge rate consistency after two months of daily use. Those are the things that determine whether a charger earns a permanent spot on a surface or ends up in a drawer.
One clarification before the results: “MagSafe compatible” does not mean MagSafe. Units marketed as magnetic and Qi2-compatible will align a phone correctly and charge at up to 15W on capable devices, but only Apple’s MagSafe accessories carry the MFi certification that enables iPhone-specific optimizations. We’ve noted certification status for each unit where it’s relevant to the wattage claim.

In 10 weeks of daily use it handled an iPhone and AirPods simultaneously without issue — the coil placement is wide enough that you don’t need to land devices precisely to get a charge handshake. Observed charging rate on an iPhone 15 Pro: 7.5W consistent, which is the ceiling for iPhones on non-MagSafe pads regardless of what the pad’s maximum output claims. That’s not a criticism of this unit specifically — it applies to the entire Qi category for iPhone users.
Coil temperature after 60 minutes of continuous charging measured at a surface temperature we’d describe as warm but not uncomfortable to touch. No thermal throttling observed. The LED indicator is visible in daylight and at low light — if you use this as a nightstand charger and sleep in a dark room, it will be noticeable. This pad markets itself on the MagSafe name but is not Apple MFi certified — it uses the Qi2 open standard, which enables magnetic alignment and up to 15W on Qi2-capable devices. On an iPhone 15 it delivered 12W sustained, which is above the standard Qi ceiling of 7.5W and below Apple’s MagSafe maximum of 15W. That’s a meaningful middle tier: faster than a standard Qi pad, not as fast as an Apple charger.
The magnetic hold is functional — it snapped an iPhone into position consistently and didn’t drop connection during 10 weeks of nightstand use. The main issue at this price is coil heat: after 45 minutes of continuous charging the pad surface ran noticeably warmer than the INIU (product 03) under the same conditions. Not outside safe parameters, but worth noting for always-on nightstand use. The LED is a persistent white dot — small but visible in a dark room.

The feature that earns this a nightstand recommendation is the one that doesn’t appear in the spec sheet: it has no indicator LED whatsoever. This sounds like a small detail until you’ve been woken up by a blinking green dot at 2am.

The stand’s hinge point loosened slightly by week 8 — not enough to lose the angle, but the resistance when repositioning it became less precise. The magnetic alignment is strong enough that the phone doesn’t shift when tapping the screen while on the charger — a detail that matters for desk use. Coil temperature after an hour of dual-device charging was the highest in the test, but still within reasonable bounds. The indicator LED has two states: solid when charging, off when not — exactly the right behavior, and dim enough to be tolerable on a nightstand.

In 10 weeks on a desk, it handled all three simultaneously without any device failing to charge or the system dropping a connection. The footprint is compact enough that it replaces three separate chargers without taking more surface space than two of them would.
iPhone output at the main coil measured at 7.5W — standard Qi, not Qi2 — which is the trade-off for the multi-device form factor at this price. If 15W iPhone charging is the requirement, this isn’t the unit. If simplification is the requirement — one cable, one surface, three devices — it does that job without incident for the duration of the test. The Apple Watch puck sits in a recessed holder that kept it in contact without the watch sliding off, which is a minor mechanical detail that several competing designs get wrong.
